After weeks of playing perfect bass my TC-2 went the way of the Wooly Mammoth. It was wired down to 4 ohms on the same 9601d since I got the amp. Im going to be having a funeral,( putting it in my garage) at around 1 p.m. today. Say a prayer...

On a serious note anyone repair them?

how did you blow it on a 9601d @ 4 ohms?

idk. Im sure its blown. Its like it wants to play but its stuck or something and I have to turn the bass all the way up to get any response from it which is barely any so I figure that's what it is. Does the cone still move freely when you push on it?

Its a shifted motor, contact chris about it, he fixed mines for free, just have to pay and ship it back in but it should be an easy fix, just aligning the motor back in position.

is other just me or is it the only problem with the threatcon 2's are shifting motors. mine shifted as well.

I have 5 out of 8 of mine have the top plate shifted, not sure if the glue was a bad batch

Do you think they shifted during the trip from China?
