you dont get it do you? have you ever tried to get a permit for this type of thing? i doubt it. Jumping through hoops is an understatement. It costs a shit ton of money, takes forever, and the smallest thing can keep you from getting one. Basically you can get a permit but the gov does all it can to keep you from getting one. If you go out tomorrow and buy a silencer and use it you will be put in jail because it is illegal to have one without a permit. You can nitpick all you want to but in the end it is illegal for 99.99% of the population to have a silencer.
