Those who own the Kenwood x889?

I recently got the 25th anniv. edition, supposedly identicle to the 889, and I was wondering why they give you the option to pick sub size? Kind of cool for the door speakers, but if you cross the sub and evertyhing is this just a dead tool?

YEA i no i was thankin the same thing...a subs a sub...mybe it changes something in the EQ i guess....mybe ur rite it is a died tool
