Actually what I'm thinking of wont have a port-woofer phase peak. Do you happen to know your cabbin peak? ie, have you put the woofer in a 0.707 sealed enclosure and done sweeps?

What I'm thinking off will put the front and back waves in phase and dump the back waves right infront of the front waves. I dont know how well it will work butI'd even like to give it a try. Once I have something drawn up in google sketch I will PM you with them. Sort of, not quite. If it works it will be a one note wonder as far as I can tell.

It's big though. Just over 3' wide and 3' deep and 14.5 tall though the height could be cut down. It can be made a little smaller though.
