This sucks

mine are still growing in, slowly day by day for years now cutting thru my gums. I enjoy it though, a little pain reminds you to share it with others.

i had all 4 of mine pulled the 2nd day of my junior year.

they said the stitches would fall out after about a week and i had to eat soft food and drink juices and stuff of that sort.

i was groggy that day, and had pain relievers (just in case) for that same time period. never bothered me again after that.

They knocked me out. All I can remember is the doctor talking to me about my truck, and then telling me he was all set. lol I got all four removed too. It just sucks i feel like a vegetable.

just had mine removed last week.

Sucked for the first day... the next day was kinda painful too, but I ate a cheeseburger by the end of the day haha... course I only had 1 taken out.

I also ended up going to a concert and drinking like.. 7 or so beers that night along w/my medication... WEEEE!!

next day it was much better.. popped.. 1 pill I think?

Day after that was fine and back to normal... still had a fair amount of blood in my mouth tho.

EDIT: THEY DID NOT KNOCK ME OUT! I asked to be knocked out.. but when it came time, the doctor came in, shot my mouth w/novicaine, left the room for about 10 minutes, came back in, yanked around in my mouth, and it was out. Then he left the room and they put me in the recovery room..

No being put to sleep

No gas

just novicaine.

It was fine.

I got mine done on a thursday, so i'd have a 3 day weekend to recouperate afterwards...

the number #1 thing i remember is how f'ed up i was when i woke up from the anesthesia... All i remember was the nurse saying "are you feeling alright" and i replied "i feel better than alright" and then next thing i know i'm sitting on my couch at home watching the matrix.... i highly recommend the sp injection to anyone having theirs removed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

my mouth was swollen as hell, too. i also had all 4 removed, and the first day i couldn't eat, 2nd day i think i managed to eat jello.... the worse feeling isn't the soreness of the gums, tho, it's that, whether you realize it or not, you kinda apply suction anytime you're trying to eat something off a spoon, or even a fork, and it feels like the stitches are gonna rip out... that sucks more than anything...

2nd day ate lots of medication, and had a few brews in my buddies hot tub with some ladies, ladies like guys with medicine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

they knock you out. your choice of what they use. IV or nitrous. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
you don't wanna be awake for that long period of time especially with all the cutting/drillng whatever they do.
I got both //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

They had to cut all 4 of mine out.

Lets just say I got home and My team was playing. Oklahoma was tanking it and playing very poorly so I'm kinda pilled up and i start yelling at the TV. Well my face feels wet and i thought it was jsut the numbness but actually blood was just coming out of my mouth all over and i walked to the bathroom and scared the $hit outta my brother lol. Don't yell at anything.
