But it's not that I go into the lounge looking for threads, it's the fact that instead of helping someone pick out speakers for their setup, or asking someone what kind of box they can use for X sub, the top 5 most recent posts are about one of the following...

1. Pedaphalific threads

2. Pot

3. Ghey p0rn

4. How someone wants to overthrow the mods

CA.com may be one of the busiest, if not the busiest "car audio" website as far as traffic, but where is the car audio talk anymore? The sad truth is that some people come on here wanting to learn and share advice but have to listen to all of the E-thugs and punks who are pissed off because their mom parents wouldn't let them go out, so they try to take out their anger with their ************/ **** threads just to see whom they can piss off/ argue with.

I'm not against the Lounge in any way, I think it's a great idea... but the privilege of using it for free is being abused.

Why do people question as to why the "OG's of ca.com" are gone?

Obviously more people want to post in the lounge. The amount of posts in the other sections won't miraculously increase because the lounge is gone and I doubt goob is willing to lose traffic over your view of it.

No, I'm not referring to your bumped threads. I'm referring to the 5 other threads created yesterday alone on how bad this forum is getting. Again, I'm not saying that the lounge should be wiped out completely, however, I do think that their NEEDS to be some sort of intermission for enough time for a specific person(s) to possibly browse threads/ user posts to see who is causing all of the trouble. True, the traffic would possibly slow for a short period of time... But in the long run it will more than likely pay benifits. Something like a weekly cleanup etc.

I'm sure nothing will come of anything I'm saying, but I've spoken my piece and I know that there are plenty of mature people on here who agree with me 100% that something should be done for the greater good of Ca.com.
