im gonna ask anyway. alright so i have my xl wired down to 4 to make sure its broken in before sending it alot of power and sending it only 800 isnt giving me much voltage drop which is good. my question is will the dimming and voltage drop get worse when i wire it down to 1 ohm even if i leave the gains right where they are?

yes, depending on your electrical. Your current draw will go way up. Do you have any electrical work done at all in your system?

and i had my lvl 4 wired to 1 and it wasnt an issue so i guess ill just have to wait and see

if your seeing some diming at 4 you deff should see a lot more at 1 from what you said. the bigest gain dolar for dolar you will ever get in car audio is doing the big three. for the small amount of money you put into doing the big three the net results are WOW why didnt i do this sooner.

also an upgrade to the power wire may not be a bad idea, but again depends on what your running for one currently
