I hate to align myself with the OP, but some of those "gay black metal bands" are the epitome of brutality and hatred. Many of them practice what they preach and that's been well documented. Read about Dead, Eronymous and Varg Vikernes before running off at the mouth, man...

No, I'm not comparing anything. I simply stated a truth. Many people listen to heavy music because they like the brutality it represents. Mayhem brought violence and brutality to a level that music had never, and most likely will never see again. If you don't like it, that's cool, but calling the whole scene gay is ignorant...
