Good wire kit = 80 bucks

Two Type R's used = 220

1200w rms or so amp, not kicker or something similar = 150 or so

Lacking a HU that way.

Check through the forums and piece it together man, you might spend another 100 bucks but it is TONS better than waht you would have had.

Before this turns into a "get this" and "No get this" argument. Do some research around here. Try searching the model numbers of the thing your interested. Chances are there is something about it. If you dont see anything I would stay away.

For Subs I would look into: Fi, audioque, DD, MTX (7500 and above), Alpine Type R's, RD, or TC

Components I would personaly go to your local shop (not wal-mart) and listen to them.

Head units, look around here for one in the classifieds, just remember you get what you pay for. KnuKonceptz has some nice wire for the price or use wire from http://www.weldingsupply.com. Try looking around for some TC-9 based subs. They are usualy pretty cheep and take a good beating. For amps, just run a search and Im sure you will see if its stable or not. GL with your stereo.

my friend has a kenwood sub and amp wit 1000watts. it hits hard. hard enough for me atleast... thats all im really wanting...

look into the cvr or type r setup and have a box built for you by one of us or build it yourself. buy an appropriate amp for the subs in the classifieds as well as a HU. should be able to stay under 450 pretty easy

Is it 1000w rms, or does it say 1000 watts on the amp? There is a huge difference

Okay, you have the room so I'll suggest this.

Two 15" Kicker Comp VR's - Should be able to find both for sub 100 each used

1000w RMS out of the classifieds - 150

HU - Used from classifieds, tons around at great prices. You can definitely stay under with this, but you will have to build a box for this/buy one form a shop. You can pay about 10 dollars for some good box plans, if you have the ability to cut the wood it will be fun to do and you will take tons more pride in your audio.

There is also a guy who has some DC Lvl 2 15's for sale for relatively cheap

i got an amp that can push one for 150 shipped.
