This is pathetic

hey hey...welcome to the 20th century where buildhouses sell the same design to many different manufacturers in hopes to increase their profits. Cant blame a company for buying the same design you bought...Stop the whining.

Having been in busy for 26 years, Hifonics has had more then it's share of copy cats steeling electronic designs but boy, I hate nothing worse then when a competitor company that can't design a successful amp line to save there life, steels our design, puts there name on it and rides our coat tales hoping to pick up some scraps left behind.
We spend a lot of time and money designing, engineering and manufacturing our products and to have these low lifes steel it is just pathetic!

Heck, they even took liberty with our name.

Oh wait, they did exclude one small peice of plastic so it must be there original design.

Sad, sad, sad.......

Guess who?

Starts with L and ends with R
Not sure which is more pathetic. Lanzar stealing your heatsink design or your spelling. VP of Global Product Development?

First off, no ones whining here and please do not assume you know anything about how we go about designing and producing our products.

We are all aware of the build houses all over Asia that so many companies buy the cookie cutter amps from.

These amps are produced in a factory that does not make products for any other competing car audio companies.

I personally design all of our products and it just sucks when someone takes (steels) a successful product, sends it to China and has it cloned (not just the heat sink but the entire cosmetic package).

Every big company takes styling cues from others (just look at the car market) at some point or another but at some point of near cloning, it becomes steeling.

No doubt that that factory will then sell it to any other company that will buy 10 or more.

I'm sure you would feel the same way if you designed something and someone cloned it and claimed it as there own.

so hang on you are telling me that you design everything in a hifonics amp here in the U.S.A. but yet people are able to clone your cosmetic design that quickly, and never produce an amp that looks cosmetically like your hifonics amps?

You are correct...I should have used spell check...typing too fast with out looking.

This is why I am not a school teacher.
