Hey guys, it's not just about this one person. Check this out, there's a whole lobbyist organization who wants to ban car audio, car alarms (cause they make loud noises OMG), lawn mowers, anything loud. Called Noise-Free America. Call your congressman and tell them not to listen to these clearly misguided ignorant individuals.
I love listening to my music loud. I'm a musician myself, as well as a big fan of all different types of music, and to truly appreciate it, you have to have a good sound system so you can hear each and every instrument and sound clearly. And if you want the music to consume you, it's gotta be loud. But that doesn't mean I'm not responsible. When I enter a residential area at night, I turn the volume down to a more reasonable level so I won't be waking anyone up.

Edit - I was just about to send an email to the owner of this lower the boom website. I spent some time thinking about what I could say and arrived at the conclusion that there is nothing I can say at all. If someone is ignorant and stupid enough to accuse me of being a murderer because I listen to loud music, I can't change their mind with intelligent arguments. If someone has the audacity to call me stupid and un-intelligent when it clearly takes a lot to be able to put together systems like this, then nothing I can say will do anything. Read their pathetic forum, it's full of ridiculous claims, ignorance, and racism. Don't even bother with these people. They couldn't exit an igloo with an axe.
