I currently have a Profile AP1000 2-Channel Amplifier powering my 6.5" Phoenix Gold RSD set of components.
I am planning on upgrading my frontstage to a set of 07' 6.5" RA SLC components in the kick panels and 08' 5x7" RA SLC components in the door. Each component has a load of 4-Ohms which should make the final load on the amplifier, 2-Ohms, which should send the two sets 225watts between em.
The only problem I has is, is this amplifier a solid enough budget amplifier to send each component set their RMS rating as well as provide the sound quality output essential for these speakers.
My experience with the PG rsd 6.5" were decent, nothing amazing, nothing really warranting the forum boner it has received but decent. Ofcourse unlike with the PG rsd, these new components will be deadened and completely secure in their locations.
