Alright what you think guy's right now im running a mono block digital audio amp and 2 12 pioneer Dvc subs in a sealed box cut by 17 and 32...but was thinking of selling Em and going with 2 12 Type R's would be putting em in the same box and using the same amp i heard Type Rs can handle easily over 800 watts and the amp i got is a monoblock digital audio amp 1600 rms does rated power:). But what you guy's think?

I seriously think that you should stick with what you have...save some money and buy some quality equipment for once.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ALPINE-SWR-1242D-12-DVC-Subwoofer-Type-R-Car-Sub-NEW_W0QQitemZ300056461181QQihZ020QQcategoryZ18803QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

$100 per woofer and $38 per woofer for shipping...so $138 X 2 = $276

Save another $100 and buy yourself a pair of 12" SSD's

What you mean man everyone i have talked to has said Type Rs were real nice subs???? wish i could get Re's but there to expensive or a nice W7 but way out of my price leauge.

**** I just about had a seizure trying to read your......sentences. You ever hear of periods and commas?

I agree with Mike, save up for some quality stuff.

yeah sorry man i have a bad habit of not using them. Yeah that's what i will probably do then in the summer i will go big pay off rest of the debts to my parents first //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif then in the summer work on it for now i'll stick with the pioneers but for just information purposes guys , what do you think i could do with a box cut 17by32 for 12s a monoblock digital audio amp running 4 guage wire. Want to try and stay in the $250 range if possible? just some suggestions would be helpful:)

Actually those Pioneers aren't that bad sounding subs, why do you want to switch?

I've heard type r's a few times and truthfully they never really impressed me. Maybe it was me tho, everyone seems to love them.

Yeah i like the Type R's i Like my pioneers but i want to go louder i mean they hit well nothing wrong with em. but just want to pound more and plan on hopefully getting my car ready for Db race's this summer:) just to try see how i can do.

your measurements make no sence ... when measuring 3d objects there are x, y, and Z ... your measuring a plane with "17x32"
