Thinking of swapping out my vr4000d for a saz 3000d?

Well what do you think? Sell my crossfire vr4000d and pick up a sundown 3000d to replace.
Everyone is prolly gonna think I'm stupid, since the crossfire is rated to more, and more efficient at the 2 ohm load. But the sundown can drop to a lower load, and just seems like I'm having a hell of a time getting the crossfire to work well with my subs...thinking:confused:
now you are wanting to

after i started selling off the 24 e8's

I'm not reading all the replies but I am willing to bet quite a few people would trade amps with you.......I know I would........even though jacob has sweet warranty and customer service........and a nice butt so I heard //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

didn't mean it that way. You are correct i shouldn't say reliablity wise crossfire is better cause i can't back that statement up. But like you agreed they do sell more amps and i know its not necessarily because the product but they're a bigger company thats been around alot longer. No disrespect Nick, i know you make solid products, i just thought that guys comment about crossfire not taking abuse was just dumb.
Okay, no problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm not sure who Nick is *laughs*

There is Nick Wright from Incriminator, Nick Lemons from Stereo Integrity, and Nick Morgan from FI / AA. I'm not any of them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But yes, the 3500D comes out in May.

you really are dumb. Crossifre was the amp most used in competitons for years. Crossfire can't take abuse like a sundown is absurd. I would like to see if a sundown can take the abuse like a crossfire to be honest and i'm not taking anything away from sundown at all. You just are comparing the wrong company to sundwon, crossffire amps are solid and bullet proof. Do a search and show me how many people on these boards have blown a crossfire or had a problem with a crossfire.Sundown is a great company with great products and great customer srevice but crossfire is above them, sorry. Atleast for amp sales and reliability
i blew my vr2000d twice. it was a strong amp, but i liked my kx2500.1 better. just seemed more efficient, ran cooler, and handled voltage drops without popping.

my teammate runs a vr4000 on 2 dd 3500 15s...solid, beastly amp....i wouldnt swap the vr4000 for saz-3000...but saz-3500?? probably would..both would be good...and u cant go wrong with sundown customer service

i can vouch for the unpopularity of sundown products off the forum...when i wear my sundown tshirt to class...people ask me what is sundown and ask if it is from walmart...sorry jake...
ROFL... i had the same thing happen. but the dude said ".... uhh... yeah i know what sundown is.. its good". I was like "... hrmmm.. okay... stfu"
