We're thinking of having a show either it be Dbdrag or Midwestspl. It would be a single pointer event. Below is the lay out of classes for each organization. What format would you prefer to attend? We'd like to make a fun show for the locals and the competitors that just want to come out and have a good time.

Typically we do dbdrag but we've really found that midwest spl is quite unique and that anyone with any system could be competitive regardless of cost of system or vehicle. Midwest spl is truly about the persons build and not who has the most cost investment or the most power. Their "finals" is free to attend and there is cash payout for winning your class at finals.

I know it sounds like we're favoring Midwest spl but that's not the case. It's a newer organization (over 1 year old) and since most people know about db drag I was just listing most of what Midwest spl is offering since most people probably haven't heard of it. Either way cost is about the same to throw either show.

So please reply to what league and if you would attend. Location and time will come later so feel free to ask any questions.

Dbdrag offers spl classes and bass race. Below is list of classes.

Midwest spl offers a lot of entry level spl classes that are "clamped" power limited which means your build is what determines the louder vehicle not the amount of power or who can spend the most on equipment. Since there will probably be a lot of locals or people that may not compete seriously we'll mostly be running the "Local" classes unless people from the south that are members show up.

Midwest Street Division Classes - Rules

Get Loud Productions goal is to increase interest in car audio, auto sound competition and the 12volt aftermarket industry. The past 8 years of promoting events has shown us that once an someone starts competing their interest in car audio will increase. We feel that providing competitors some fair and low cost classes can influence them into making further purchases and ideally grow this sport and industry.

Get Loud Productions has designed a format of competition that is designed to meet everyone's needs. This format is called the Midwest Street Division ( MSD for short ) This division started out in the Midwest and has steadily grew to what it is today. The Midwest Street Division is a division of competition that we feel every retailer needs. Its affordable to the competitor and allows the retailer to sell normal off the shelf equipment. We feel this will allow the retailer the opportunity to make sales and to ensure success in his or her local market.

Below is a list of Get Loud Production Midwest Street Classes ( MSD ):

I am interested. Would probably be in basic trunk, maybe basic 1. How exactly do they figure power output?
Clamped power using two meters. One meter for AC voltage and other meter for AC amperage. So the power playing field is even and it's all about the box design and the subs.
