thinking of buying a fox body...

I would find a clean unmolested 93 cobra and leave it be and enjoy it.
that was my intent, but I'm looking for something clean that I wont have to put too much time into so I can just enjoy it, but the unfortunate thing is that most of the cleaner cars I'm finding have been dicked with severely or in ill-advised fashion...I'm not going to rush out and buy the first one I like, it will probably take me some time to decide...

and no, this unit in Illinois is not online that I know of at least, just got word of it through a buddy I know with Cherry Motors that knows the guy selling it via part orders and such...

haha yea thats me still a scrawny dirty blonde kid with a blue 68 mustang.... took the subs and radio out, with a turbo you don't need one. the car now has a turbocharged 4.6l mod motor in it.
Can you PM me some pics of that thing? You may remember me. This was my 68 w/ a 200 L6 in it... My name was 68_stang on there.

98-02 Camaro or ***** Am. Those LS motors luv add ons and power adders. They can make some serious HP with not much money...then again...I'm biased to the f-bodies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I would get the SVT. A buddy of mine has one, and I really like it. It's a fun car do drive.

Yeah but insurance for me would be around $500 a month. I'm 21 with a clean record too. I pay $225 a month just for a single cab Silverado. Louisiana insurance rates ****!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

I work for a top 3 insurance company as a claims manager - and I'm not 21, I'm good on the insurance...

I was just stating that bc earlier in the thread I said I was gonna get one but then I found out how much insurance would be.

I currently use "The General" for insurance. I couldnt find anything cheaper.

Suggestions? I pay $225 per month right now.

have you tried to comparison shop with local agents? you'd be surprised what you find out when calling Allstate and Statefarm's local agents...try it out, find a few local in the area and talk to them first hand...I always tell people, it's senseless to switch from your current carrier to a lesser or equal carrier, it's only worth it if you can upgrade and stay within the same ballpark...
