thinking of buying a fox body...

I forgot that my screen name is what it is. I would race anyone in my 68 it had a 6 cylinder in it except no one knew you were racing lol. even with a turbo it was never really that fast. I was referring to a 95 mustang I had.

Dude, werent you on the Ford I6 forum a few years ago? I think I remember you. You were a scrawny dirty blond kid and you painted your car blue. You had some Pioneer subs in it once. LOL

I used to have a fox. It was ugly, but I built it into a low 11s street car with a NA 306. Was shiftin at 6800rpms...

It was still runnin mid 12s here...

Hell yeah!!!! I have 3 friends that have them. They are dirt cheap around here. You can get them 30000 miles for around $20000.

I just cant afford the insurance on one.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

haha yea thats me still a scrawny dirty blonde kid with a blue 68 mustang.... took the subs and radio out, with a turbo you don't need one. the car now has a turbocharged 4.6l mod motor in it.

I found a VERY clean 93 Cobra R (29k miles) running a 351 in Illinois, the owner is in "must sell" mode apparently...I'm going to send a buddy to check it out and see if it's worth me flying out there...

they never put a 351 in a 93 Cobra R...

I knew you meant Ford btw, I was just saying, this guy swapped blocks...of course I haven't talked to him or physically seen the ride up close yet so I actually can't confirm...I'm actually not so sold on a R model to be honest...I dont need to be "bad ***" with it...but, I'll check it out anyway...

I would find a clean unmolested 93 cobra and leave it be and enjoy it. Awesome looking cars and still very fun in stock form. I've been around foxes and mustangs my whole life, foxes are straight up one of the most fun cars you can own. Terminators are fun too, but not everyone can afford them

is the car posted online? i would think he killed the value of the car by doing so. it isn't as easy as just swapping blocks. 351 is wider and taller. my 92 had a 351 in it.

They still fit without too much of a problem in a fox. Swap headers, oil pan are all you really need. I would have just stroked the stock block though. Same power and a ton of torque without really hurting the value
