Thinking of buy used battery how do I test it?

Well I found some batcap model 2000 for sale I wanted to no how do I test them with multimeter ? What number should I be looking for good and bad?

you can check voltage but that really doesnt mean shit

O so there really no way of testing it too see if it going to last or not?

well if it reads over 12v then it has 12v, i dont know what a batcpa sits at but without a load tester you dont know how much amperage it has, it could be 12.4v with 150amps which would be pretty useless, or you can take his word for it. I dont buy used batteries.

if its local meet at a parts store and bring it in for a load test. thats the only way for sure

That good idea take it too like autozone have them test it but just wanted to see if there was another way .

Here is my advice:

1) Never buy used batteries

2) See point #1
