thinking about a move

so me and my girl wana move from longisland to upstate ny. for 600 u can get a 2 room apt or half a house for 800. or 1000 a whole house. just need to go vist, where gona stay at her dads house in troy for our vist.. not sure of a lot of the local stores or hang out spots. any one been there or hear anything bad about upstate ny? looks to b cheap rent

oh yea the smaller places have everything included. the house we would have to pay all the bills. we have 800 to 1000 but if we take her mom we can spend 1500 or more but would need 2 big rooms or 3

I payed $300 for 3 bedroom newly renovated house back home in Iowa. Thats was family rate but not much more than the current renter pays. I pay 3 times that now, makes me sad.

room500-600 heat , water etc etc come with the price

basement aparment 800-1000 1 room sometimes u can get all included

2 bed aparment- 1400-1600

house 2000-2400

These rental prices make me sick. It's unfortunate that the economy ***** and people either don't have the money or credit to buy a house, rather than rent. Rent on my house (grandparent's house technically) is $476 a month for a 4 bedroom house with 2 acres of land. Even after utilities it's cheaper and they own it and can do as they please.
