just move to a small town called El centro...rent is ULTIMATLY cheap..rent in daygo for a 1 bedrom is the equvelant to a 5 bedroom house in El centro. Very boring place. nothing to do, Hotter than shit shit...gets arond 120 normal days..130 if its good.

had one of the highes unemployment rates in the Us..was around 14%-17% at one time compared to us national average of 6%.

but its booming with buisness so it wont be that hard to find a minimum wage paying job no more.

women here are..ehh..if u like mexicans..o yea..its overcrowded with them..so if u dont like mexicans...idk what to tell you..also people are REALLY nice here. how i know this? cuz i grew up here

min wage here is like 7 bucks an hour. count on 1000 bucks for rent and utilites. whatever you need to live on, and whatever expenses you have. its not all that expensive, you just have to work full time.

I take it your from cali? I would think it would be more than that there. Hell we have a lot of local places that pay 7.25 min wage here and I live in ohio and cost of living is hella cheap here.

Anyway, this thread made me not want to move to a big city. I think if I move, which me and my family have been thinking off heading towards Missouri. We know people that live there and love it, so heading down this summer to check it out for a week or so. Who knows, maybe I could find a house where I grew up in. There are alot of nice places in cali. San fransisco is known for their beautiful city, being the BAY AREA and flaming homosexuals everywhere..never been there..oakland is another big city in the bay..cheaper to live..but more gheto...sacromento "cosidered the bay" hour away drive from it actually...BOOOORING flat land (compared to big cities) and very cheap...stilll a nice place to live.

or u can always come to Socal..San diego is where i live by the beach, 1 bed room will cost u between 500-800 if u look right, excluding deposit and start-up fees and b/s. GREAT weather, Girls everywhere, alot of scools, like 5 Junior colleges, 2 state and 2 university. and High paying jobs here..

u can easily find a job that pays over 10 $ an hour as a regular (i do this b/s job temporary til i get a bette one)...work at a casino..become a dealer and make like 30+ dollars in a year

synikalt,do you live in p.b or i.b perhaps?and where can you hind a 1 br for as little as 500,man you can't find a 1 br off imperial and euclid for less than 700, i just bought a 4 br townhome,i said townhome in eastlake for 463,000,mortgage +property taxes +association fees=3200.00 a month

san francisco is not all that bad...Close your mouth country boys if you have never been there..

IM not reping san francisco but I have been to alot of big citys in the US and san franciso and california have alot to offer.. Grant you have your bums in spots and its dirty but its not like that every where... but all big citys have that. There is a alot of gays in the city but they dont touch or bug you and they have their own street to play on, so if you stay away from castro street your be fine, if your a ********* that is

There are lot of surrounding citys so there is plenty oppertunitys here also the cost of living is higher so you get paid more if you find i good job you dont need to live in that city..You can go 30 mins in ANY direction and be in a different city.. There is about 18 citys that are around 30 mins away from san francisco.. So if san fran isnt your flavor your not out of luck.

And you have the water and the mountains at your disposal.. GO 35 mins south of san fran they have sufing.. Some of the bigest waves are at maverics in half moon bay, go 2 hours east you have mountains and ski resorts with lakes and the delta in between.. So ?????

And you will not be disapointed with the girls either trust me!!!

you know what the weather was here yesterday where i live it wasn a sunny 74 with not a cloud in the sky and today is supposed to be the same!!! nice weather huh so cal???

But so cal is very nice as well. So if you decide you dont like it here then go down south or vise versa you are bound to like one of the area in california..

The valley is nice that would be my choice if i was him . and its only like 40 mins away from the city..

Nice area to live in a lil pricey in some spots but its growing so much is rediculous

but yea the valley is extremely nice if your looking for cheap apartments look into dublin, buiness is booming over there right now and they do have some very nice apartments
