Most important is real power. Not the BS "max power" but real RMS power. You'll want that power at an impedance compatible with your subs.

After that you want to look for features that you can use. Crossover if you need one. Subsonic filter if you plan on running a high tuned ported enclosure. Don't worry about bass boost or anything like that, as they ususally cause more problems than anything else.
