Same price, and I nearly ordered the CDT's but everyone is on the Pioneers lately... Was planning on ~150/channel with the CDT's, but probally wouldn't want more than 100 with PRS's??

x2. Heard a lot about those pioneers. I believe they're on par w/ some Rainbows' comp sets that are around a slightly higher MSRP price. Great choice there!

by far the best speakers they've made imo.

also i really don't know why people like cdt so much. It wasn't anything amazing to me. Also the highend cdt's use vifa mg speakers + huge price hike so if you want cdt, just go buy some vifa speakers and match it with a nice pair of tweets. that'll run you less than $180 for something cdt charges $700+.

We carry those premiers where I work. One of they guys who has worked there a long time installed a set and let us hear it and they were beautiful. Not overly tweetery like most of their speakers.

they are pretty efficient. I found that somewhere between 75-100 rms per side was the sweetspot. Very loud with little power. No complaints with them except the average passive x over that they use. I just haven't been able to find any stores around that have them so I can listen to them. I've listened to a range of focal's, MB Quart, and BA's... How would you compare them to something in those brands?

I think the prs720 will sound nicer than anything Quart makes. I like the 720 a bit more than the BostonPro60's also. Cannot comment on the Z6 though. Never was a huge fan of Focal.

I'm with you on Focal's...granted this was in a wall and a little underpowered, but the focal poly 3 ways and even the K2's this shop had didn't impress me. I liked the BA Pro60's much more in the same conditions.
