We're fine. All this end of the world stuff spawns from the idea that black holes will be created and will eventually swallow the Earth. Its been said by Hawking and other Physicists that these black holes, if created, will be so insignificant and will evaporate quickly.

Do you really think that scientists would proceed with this if there was indeed a HUGE chance of the Earth being destroyed as a byproduct of this machine? We're fine. Start the energy converting already.
