the XXX12 sounds great in 1.5cubes sealed.. thats not really large... 2 cubes ported also sounds good...the first ones that is..

XXX's need much larger boxes than what is said on RE's website. If they posted what the XXX's real optimal enclosures were no one would be buying the subs.

i wouldn't waste my money on the new XXX its not really revelant in car audio... it was bullt for the same reason the jackhammer was.. to awe and impress... sealed it will do fine but tis just not really logical in 99% of the appilications not even home audio... its going to take goobs of power to have good output..

Are you serious???? LOL, you sir have no idea what your even talking about. Apparently you have never owned one. My XXX is louder than my MT with about 2500 rms. To the ear, the mic shows differently, but to the ear... The XXX kills it. (In my 3 setups atleast)

Think before you post to a person who has probably spent more money on subs and tested more subs than you have made or had your whole life.

At the price Nick is selling them for, it'd be impossible not to look at them...although if someone is expecting an idiot-proof driver, they're in for a pretty rude awakening. Wasn't a problem for me, but for others...

DD 3515 or 9515.. They bump out hellacious spl and dont sound bad at all.. my 9500 was a better all around woofer than any other in the area..
