All you have to do is pay a web hosting service and download a few templates and you have a "New Scene". If thats what these guys want to do, then thats great! The educated person will always know whats what in the shifting sands of perception.

lol, yes you are. There is already quite a few shops, distributors, manufacturers, rim companies and other outside sources interested in this but they want to see organization and control issues. It's going to take some time!
i personally go to usaci shows and db drag. What i personally like is a drive by style. We bring a crowd that way as well

You guys realize DbDrag is already trying to do something like this (well not with the judging done by the people) right? I think it got put on the back burner with internet finals, but its based on the number of total speakers, and judged both by SPL and on a RTA mic, with doors open. Maybe give that a shot?
