The verdict: Soundstream T4 vs T5. Anyone?

I never heard the t-4. I have the T-5's and I think they are good subs. I agree about the tinsel leads and the magnet cover. When you put seriouse power to them they do kick azz . I guess it all depends on what your intentions are for this sub. I like the sq from these subs but I really want sql. Clean and LOUD. so I am looking at other Soundstream subs now.

no the t4 has all the better stuff i was talking about. t5s are junk when u put some power to them.

Oh really? My amp's 1200RMS, so you're telling me the T5 would sh!t out with that kind of power?

yea i sent 2k to 2 and they were meh at best. good sq at higher ohm load (less power) but feed them too much and they flop.

so all in all t5=sq and t4 = lots of power and spl lol

T4 is all around better built. Its just as simple as that.

Some good reviews for the T4 then. Hell of a buy for a 1000W sub, I gotta say.

Soundstream Reference R1 12's will do you fine.
