Most Blacks did not come to America by choice... They originally came here by being forced here by whites.... If they had stayed in Africa, they would have had their own college funds for African colleges, their own magazines, their own kind of television and so on... Since we forced them to come here, they should still be able to have these things amongst their own kind.

well if we are going by DIPayton's rationale than we should have white college funds etc cuz the first whites to come here were persecuted for their beliefs and we had to leave our native europe. we were a minority.

Most Blacks did not come to America by choice... They originally came here by being forced here by whites.... If they had stayed in Africa, they would have had their own college funds for African colleges, their own magazines, their own kind of television and so on... Since we forced them to come here, they should still be able to have these things amongst their own kind.

Just an example of how everything said could easily be debated. I actually agree with most of the article and points made, but you gotta understand the reason behind some of the things he's complaining about too.

but you left out the best, part most of them were traded to white people by other african tribes so in all reality they sold themselves out.

I was born and raised in north philly were you have every race--- black, white, p.r., dominican, cuban, asian, etc... and for the most part we didn't have problems with each other but you still have your problems whenever your get a group of people together talkin about race---glad i'm not there anymore biggest sh*thole in the city.

you can't hold someone, let alone a whole race, accountable for something that happened before we were even born. thats like saying your grandfather did something to my grandfather years ago that you owe me something? nope! yes there is still racism, but it goes both ways. oh, and for those of you who don't know when i talk to someone who don't like minorities, and ask them why, most of them say it's cause they are always crying about how the white man or the government is holding them down. just sharing some of my experiences

i'm not gonna sit here and debate with ya , but you should really think about that.

like i said were i grew up i was around all races and with alot of the black guys around my way me and a couple of my friends were the only white people they dealt with. and with us we could talk race without offending each other and they will straight out tell you they hate most white people. me personally i'm an equal opportunity hater, meaning if i don't like ya it ain't cause of your race it's cause your a a**hole
