The TRUTH of September 11, 2001

"Iraq is a nation that :

1. Has a demonstrated history of violence against neighboring countries.

2. Has demonstrated deployment of WMD (chemical weapons). The best intelligence indicates that WMD's are still present.

3. Has collaborated with and aided Al-Queda, the very terrorist organization that invaded your country, mercilessly slaughtering thousands of innocent civilians.

4. Has demonstrated complete defiance against the UN. At least a dozen Security Council Resolutions have been passed since the first Gulf War, condemning the regime.

5. Has barbarically ***** and tortured it's own citizens."

what do you all think of this?

I quoted someone from another site......those are his reasons for going into war.

I think because the media has been stressing it a little and people are kinda skeptical, now that they see how shady Bush is

Gore should have won in 2000. My relatives in Florida were telling me that people working for the Republican committee's went around knocking on people's door posing as members of the democratic national committee and asking them if they were democrat or republican. If they answered dem, they would tell them that they could vote right now through their laptop. Of course this was only a ploy to get democrats to act as if they voted already and not go to the polling places to cast their vote. True story.

I lost a friend in the WTC attacks....
Sorry to hear that. It happened back in my senior year of high school. Quite a few people in my high school lost their parents. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to watch people running out of class wondering if their parents/ siblings were still alive. Still makes me sick to this day.

This had me rolling on the floor laughing so hard I couldn't barely make it through the rest of the post.

Puh-LEEEZE! Yes, because people would be so gullible to think that they could vote on a laptop right there on their doorstep and not have to go to a legitimate polling place like they have had to for...like....umm.....ever?!?

But then again...should we go invading all countries that have issues similar to this?

Why didnt we do much against Charles Taylor?

What about Iran and their nukes...should we invade them as well?

Im staying neutral with all of this...Im just curious of people's answers.

1. Has a demonstrated history of violence against neighboring countries.
sounds like the US on a smaller scale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

2. Has demonstrated deployment of WMD (chemical weapons). The best intelligence indicates that WMD's are still present.
Our 'best' intelligence has proven its worthlessness plenty of times.

3. Has collaborated with and aided Al-Queda, the very terrorist organization that invaded your country, mercilessly slaughtering thousands of innocent civilians.
No evidence to back this up...

4. Has demonstrated complete defiance against the UN. At least a dozen Security Council Resolutions have been passed since the first Gulf War, condemning the regime.
Not complete defiance, do your research and you will see iraq followed through with most of the UN demands.

5. Has barbarically ***** and tortured it's own citizens.
Is that grounds for us to invade them? We have tortured our citizens in the past aswell...

Yes, they would...

Voter suppression has been used very often in the past, mostly by republicans...

would you like me to cite examples of this stuff in the past, well I dont care I'm gonna anyways..

Milwaukee-

pamphlets were handed out in a black neighboorhood with heading "Black Voters League" warning citizens that if they had already voted that year, they were ineligable for voting in the presidential election, also, if they or any family member had commited any crime, however minor, they were inelligible...

Allegheny County Pennsylvania-

flyers were handed out claiming "Due to immense voter turnout expected on Tuesday, Nov 2, the state of Pennsylvania has requested an extended voting period. Voters will be able to vote on the 2nd AND 3rd. In an attmept to limit voter conflict, Allegheny County is requesting that Republican voters vote on the 2nd and Democrat voters on the 3rd.

I can go on with litierally dozens of these type of things...

cite your sources! Not saying I don't believe it... but I definetly want to read up more about this...

They were from one of my polysci books, those examples came from an article from "People For the American Way" titled "Run-up to Election Exposes Widespread Barriers to Voting"

http://www.pfaw.org/pfaw/general/default.aspx?oid=17347

I found it online, but the one I have in front of me in my book is much longer for some reason, this one on the website is likely some sort of summary.

EDIT: found the full-text http://interactive.pfaw.org/pdf/BarriersToVoting.pdf

interesting read, I recommend it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The only way the government would be held responsible is for not going after Osama when they attack our destroyer off Yemen few years before 9/11. that is act of war and should have been taken more seriously, but democrats are *****'s when it comes to fighting, great for economics though haha.
WRONG, NO NO NO

Democrats are not good for econmics....maybe if your econimics is keeping people on ****ing welfare their entire life, and letting people claim disability when they really don't deserve it at all. Yes, bush is rather retarded when it comes to ecnomics (well everything), but democrats are not great econmists, its the rich old white guys who are good with econmics, and they aren't democrats!!!! arg

Lol, those are pretty funny. It makes me wonder if i really want people that stupid to be voting for my president anyway...

haha way to simplify (stupify) that ideology....

Neither party is inherently better or worse with the economy, republicans tend to favor trickle-down, "reaganomics" while democrats favor more taxes and a larger safety net. FYI, in the past, democrats have tended to hold office during our better economic years //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
