I was at this bassmeet the other day and some guy had 2 Sundown X-15's inverted in a 4ft3 box with about 30in2 of port... powered with a SSL 6000 watt amp and unbelievably it sounded acceptable... well, ok... it actually went sort of low... are those X series subs really that good at going low?

Holy ****, it's THE thread, haven't been on these forums for years, here for nostalgia. I wonder what the new top subwoofers are.. used to be ED, DD 9X, the ones with the most xmax, I don't even know anything about this stuff anymore, crazy how time flies.

Jesus, I had to reset my pw just to unfollow this thread. And apparently post one more time for no good reason. Trying to remember what car audio "is" is making my head fuzzy, like a hangover migraine. Didn't there used to be a...... a....... What's it called... subwoofer, involved?
