I dont think it automatically closes. only way to close a thread is if a mod closes it.

Ok, I'll ask another question then. Why would you want people to stop posting in a thread?

Threads are seldom locked or closed unless its due to rule breaking, or announcements made by leadership that doesnt need responses. etc. like some of the sticky rules

Unfortunately, Veishea was cancelled at Iowa State in 2014. There were always riots during it. People pulled street signs and light poles out of the ground, and cars got tipped over. Yep, the street in the pictures is Welch avenue, which is the street my dorm was on.

When the Cubs won the world series this year, there was a small riot there.
