Definitely thinking of 'upgrading' to Firefox. I'm still using the old POS Internet Explorer.
Couple questions though ...

Do I need to delete Internet Explorer after downloading and installing Firefox?

And, my Outlook Express e-mail program should still work, right?
no and yes.

You just d/l it and then install and it will take over as your default browser automatically. Its pretty much idiot proof.

I spent the last two hours replacing my battery terminals with Tsunami gold-plated ones...now my stereo and accessory wiring doesn't randomly cut out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I also finally got around to upgrading the stock ground to 2awg, but it didn't seem to do much. I didn't get dimming before.

I should probably leave soon, have a three hour drive ahead of me tonight.

I need to get a terminal for the positive side of my battery too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Well, Firefox seems to be working well for me.

Just have to go to all of the sites I visit and download the required plugins.

When I right-click on my MSN Messenger icon and click on the My E-Mail Inbox (# New Messages) function, it opens my Hotmail Inbox with IE ... any way to change that? I did allow Firefox to be the default internet browser when that window popped up.

Sounds good.
Downloading right now.
u should be happy with it. very simple to use and switching from IE to FF is one of the best things ive done to my comp. i do keep IE around because on few occasions, FF isnt compatible with some stuff or doesnt have the necessary plugins.

I broke down and went to Autozone...couldn't really wait any longer, and a long drive without music or communications capability drives me nuts, so does stopping to fix it for about a mile before cutting out again.

Next wiring project is going to be ripping out the power/grounds for the radio stack, and adding a 50amp fused Powerpole junction box, so I have universal power compatibility for emergency use. That can wait 'till summer though.

I downloaded FoxyTunes ... said it would install after I restart FireFox.

Closed the browser, opened it back up ... didn't install. I did the same for the weather extension and it worked fine - maybe I'll work if I re-boot the computer.

whats foxytunes?
Some extension that has something to do with music //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
