man this stuff is soooo, confusing. makes me hurt my brain:crap:

Whats weird is is u really think about it how pure is the signal that the amp puts out. say my jbl 1200 i think it only puts out clipped sine waves.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif and makes any sub go BOOM and then they start to smoke and what not. yea i know i need more power thats why i'm tryin to get a 2000watt or more amp, i might save up for a US amp.. seen one on ebay for 600

Actully they are finally doing something about the different ways of rating amps. CEA now has standards set for testing. And companies that are complying let you know it.
