Hero is my pet name for Devillain00, Vicodin.
When I first joined the forum he was deployed in Iraq. As I'm an Army brat myself (though I've never actually served myself) I have mad respect for anyone that wears the uniform of our armed services.

Well, I wouldnt be doing over the road, only regional/local.

Probly pretty clean, though when someone i know went to a tire distributor they checked but didnt care about his driving record, and even offered more than what he asked for.

Horns do have very high off-axis response but they have "beaming" just like a dome tweeter. Which means that as the frequency being reproduced gets higher, the horn becomes more directional, so frequencues much over 10khz are going to spread only 10 degrees or so beyond a straight line out of the throat of the horn.

Anyway beat, thanks for the info. The reason I was considering horns was because of the potential loudness, i think you were around when we were talking about what components I should get. Ummmm i gotta figure out what Im gonna do in the Impala, not that easy to work with.

Well I'm the wrong one to ask about loudness. My Bostons with about 150 per side could easily make someone deaf, I don't understand why people would need horns for loudness unless you have 30w amps.
