oh, good luck with that. i worked at lear and it was awful. we made seat tracks and stuff like that for the big 3. after 59 days i got axed. i would've entered the uaw after 60 days.

my bro and his g/f have been working at this one for a year or so now thats how i got in. They dont really lay-off to much he said they seem to be one of the better shops in the thumb.

Nope no UAW...but they do offer Blue cross/Blue Shield.

so it isn't part of the UAW? what happened here is they needed people because they had to fill a huge order/contract. with the state of the auto industry and michigan economy, i wouldn't burn your bridges and go spending all your money. at lear i started at $11/hour with full blue cross and all the same benifits as a big 3 worker, just less hourly pay. all i did for 8 hours a day was rivet seat tracks together. possibly the single worst job ever. idk how my dad did this shit for 30 years

lol i used to be a manager at burger king before i went to lear. the fast food job was better then lear, but the pay made it better. all i did was make like a thousand parts all day long. it was hot, it was so noisy i couldn't talk to anyone, pretty miserable. factory work was not my thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
