There are a couple of pawnbrokers here in town that will take vehicles.

I once ran across an absolutely beautiful Road Runner that they only wanted $4K for with a 440 Super Commando big-block and the original pistol-grip 4-speed. Still had the original "Plum Crazy" purple paint on it with the 440 stripe kit. The indicators for the turn signals up on the fronts of the fenders still worked as did the weird little light in the middle of the dash that said "Reverse" when that gear was chosen. I'm not entirely certain why the engineers at Chrysler in the early 70s saw the need to remind the driver that they had gone through the process of moving the shifter all the way right then back but to each their own, I suppose. All in all in was an awesome old Mopar and sadly since I was 18 at the time and couldn't convince my dad to loan me $4K to buy an old musclecar I missed out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

If they were selling it for only $4k then imagine how much the previous owner received for it on pawn?!? So tragic to have a crack habit (seeing as that is the only logical reason I can think of for why it got pawned in the 1st place)
