How'd you manage to cook all three of them?

OK well it mightve actually been 2 that i blew...one of them the spider detatched from teh cone alot earlier..but they still played well...well today im on teh road and i thought i was smelling voice coil...i pull over and the subs are hot as hell...so hot that the glue attatching the surround to the cone kinda melted...so basically my dub3's are shot completely done...It wasnt like i was overpowering them because it was powered by a hifonics 1205 which realistically on my electrical puts out around 1000 watts(if that)..so im just lost
