Well then it should be great....dreid told me it was really good for the price...and it runs at a 1ohm load....what kinda current draw does it have though?

you think my idea would do the trick though? a 140output alt and 2 batteries with an isolator?

tell me why? Because the high current draw wont keep both batteries charged off a 140output amp alt? what if you just used the factory alt for the car and got another 140alt and battery and did it that way? cheaper to just get the 200alt?

because that amp will draw AT LEAST 160A at full power...

lets say 2kw RMS at 14.4v... with what, a 70% efficiency?

that works out to 200A of draw....

running a second battery wouldn't be a bad idea, but i would say that you want at least 160-200A of alternator power.

Yea thats what I planned on...running a 140-160 alt, but now Im dropping the 140 idea...so more of a 160-200 alt and 2 batteries...

the guy im gonna be installing it for will be running it @ around 1000 watts with a 147a alt.

not for daily driving...and his alt wont be able to handle it. and i wouldnt give a brahma 15 3000 watts anways. and i dont think that the lanzar puts out that much RMS....its a tad overrated.

Would you go as far as saying it will do a good solid 2500@1ohm? Yea guys I got my jbl bp1200.1 so no more need to get in Nam's a$$hole like a gay dude in fudge packing season...now attention to corsica...Im not dowing you bro, but I need my money back...asap, because Im moving from here and going into the air force so you know......I still plan on getting a d3000m and 2 lighting audios though....lol gotta hear it cause the subs alone look to sick....probably does the most spl out there....

and yes i would go far as to say that the d3000m could do 2500@1ohm...on SPLenduro they tested the d3000m to an earthquake d2 and it held its own...

well then the lanzar is a bad buy, because its only 315$ brand new shipped.

I thought the jbl bp1200.1 was a 1 channel amp? Lol it has 2 - and 2+ speaker terminals. and it has 2 sets of rca inputs. A little help here. I hooked it up using all 4 rca inputs and it works fine...when you just have 1 set hooked up it sounds soft.

the 2 outputs are internally bridged for ease of wiring. Is one set of RCAS an input and one an output?>
