I plan on getting the elemental K subs eventually. I plan on buying a jbl amp. SHould I get the bp600.1 or the 1200.1? I think the 1200.1 is probably over kill and I will probably blow the subs with it.

The 10" elemental k's are rated at 325 rms watts single voice coil and 450 rmswatts dual voice coil. I plan on getting two dvc's or two svc's, I haven't decided yet. The 1200 watt amp is well over what the speakers peak at. Just wanted to see what you guys thought.

Specs:

bp600.1 (300X1 4 ohm, 600X1 2 ohm)

bp1200.1(600X1 4 ohm, 1200X1 2 ohm)

yeah if up put 16oz to one shot it MIGHT!! stout stuff!!

when i was a bartender had a guy that drank 151w/ a SPLASH of coke

just a splash. needless to say he was on a ******* mission!!

Stay away from hard alcohols, that a good way to kill yourself. Stick with beer. You may throw up, but chances are even if you drink 18-20 it won't kill you, you will throw up from being so full before you can even get alcohol poisoning.

 

My friend drank a half gallon of Captains.. and nearly died (drank it in under 45 mins)... Ya, it was very stupid of him to drink it that fast.. But that night was one of the scariest of my life. Seeing one of your best friends on the ground blue, and barely breathing is kinda scary..

 

But.... i still like to get buzzed on the weekends..

josh, get the 1200.1 and DVC's.. many others have done this combination, and been perfectly fine... im going to run ~800RMS to mine! lol.
