the dash kit for the car goes around it so the trim ring isnt necessary but the trim ring is stupid tight and blocks ny kind of motorized deck from moving so im in the process of widening a little

I installed my XM tuner last nite.. It was raining really hard here and I kept losing signal.. I wonder if that's normal or if I should get a better antenna? Cause I thought that was kinda ghey.. Anyways, it doesn't sound too bad I suppose.. I'd say somewhere between FM and a 128kbps MP3.. Although it sounds like some stations are more compressed than others.. Really good low end though, but you can really hear the compression in the highs.. Still not too bad and I think I will use it and be happy with the variety..
