Homemade or from a restaurant?

My grandmother on Dad's side was born and raised in Genoa, Italy. Talk about some absolutely awesome lasagna!!

yaItailan pizza isnt anything like american.

I remember asking her for an authentically Italian pizza pie when I was little.

It had artichoke hearts and other very (to an American) non-pizza toppings on it. The only relation to what I knew as a pizza was the crust on which it was cooked and she did use a tomato-based sauce....but that was where the similarities ended.

My parents made me eat it since I had specifically requested that she make it for me. Uugh. Gross. I never asked for another one to be sure!
