I wonder, though, did Cafe Du Monde get destroyed? It would be hard to imagine going to NO to visit my sister and not getting up @ 5am to go have Cafe Au Lait and beignets....

the frenchquarter didnt get hit hard at all, by flood waters, they got their share of wind though. For those of you who havent been to NO before and you saw those pictures of the superdome dammn near under water....the french quarter is up hill from that, so maybe a foot of water made it through their... Suburbs like Chalmette, Slidell, and of course the ninth ward....thats where the floods hit. I highly recomend New Orleans for those of you who havent been there...its unlike any other in the united states, and prowler Cafe Du Monde is fine.

The bombardier hq in quebec.
