Yeah im from the booming DeSoto Pairish....It is such culture shock to go from living in Baton Rouge where everyone is partying 24/7 to Mansifled where everything closes at 9pm on the weekends...but I bring the party with me in liquid form.

I did some electrical work down in DeRidder (Ft. Polk, Leesville area) years ago. You think Mansfield's bad? Try DeRidder....they roll up the sidewalks and deflate the buildings @ 5pm SHARP!

Never really been to that part of the state (Western Central LA) but ive heard bad things about it.

I wonder, though, did Cafe Du Monde get destroyed? It would be hard to imagine going to NO to visit my sister and not getting up @ 5am to go have Cafe Au Lait and beignets....
