Cory, going from the d310 to the w200 is an upgrade?i thought the d310 was the flagship model

It is, but it will be an upgrade for me, and here's why:

1. W200=Double Din.. I've never liked the idea of flipouts since they seem like such an afterthought.. Double dins are much more 'integrated' into the vehicle, which gives me wood..

2. Full-speed iPod connection.. I use my iPod everyday, so anything that makes controlling it better is an upgrade in my eyes.. I never liked the KCA-420i.. I think Alpine rushed it out the door way too soon..

3. Right where my screen flips up blocks the display for my SR-7, and I don't want to move it since it's in such a good spot already..

4. Selling things for what you paid for them, and getting something brand new every few months = le cool..

So you see, it IS an upgrade as far as I'm concerned, flagship or not.. It does everything the D310 does (and more considering the improved iPod interface), so I don't think I'm taking a step backwards at all.. The D310 is a nice unit, but it's just not the best choice for me..
