Hey, does your phone get an EVDO signal?

I'd want about $500 for my lappy.. AMD XP-M 3000+, 768mb RAM, 60GB HDD, etc, etc.. 15.4" widescreen..

And I'm on the 'edge' network, whatever that is..

ohh, I think thats equivalent to EVDO, maybe edge is CDMA

EVDO is like high speed/broadband wireless. I have the ability on my phone for it. It used to not have it for some reason, but then Telus finally decided to turn it on. But they are having bullshit problems where it won't authenticate on the EVDO network, so it will get a 1XEV signal for a few seconds/minutes, then go back to plain 'ol 1X. It's gay.

Also, see the alarm LED in that pic? It popped off the panel when I was reassembling and I was in a rush as it was uberdark and now I can't find the ****in thing. It's lost in my dash or car somewhere

No, no, don't think so, yes, although there's no media player that I could find.. It's a fancy phone with wireless internet access.. Probably not much different that your 7250.. Except the screen is amazing.. Best LCD I've ever seen.. The resolution is probably higher than your D900..

Yes, that's edge.. Same shit for the Rogers network, which is GSM..
