I wonder if I can get one cheap on ebay...... as long as it comes with a disc that covers canada sufficiently

Alpine's Nav disc doesn't cover Canada, or at least that's what I was able to find out when I went looking into it a while back.. I don't know if they are working on something, but I doubt it.. what is the difference between all the Alpine nav units? nve-n851a, n852a, n871a, n872a, etc

I believe it's just different model years.. n872a being the latest..

Negative.. I could never find one.. Call an Alpine dealer and ask them I guess.. But I've never seen one myself.. I think some major centers are covered, such as Vancouver on the west coast disc, but I'm sure it's not gonna be very detailed.. Just enough info so that the stupid Americans don't get lost..
