ok a got an easy question. if there are a line of subs 10" through 18", and they all use the same motor, should the 10" have higher efficiency than all the others becuase of have smaller cone/surround/etc so it has less weight to move?

Springy, it's because sensitivity is derived from a formula of VAS, QMS, mms, etc. The larger subs will move quite a bit more air but only gain a little moving mass usually.
