xm and sirius programming are both differnet in canada, the difference is primarily stuff like news and whatnot, most of hte music and other programming stays the same, but they add some canadian content and drop the US content

I'm on the US Sirius network, that way I get both howard stern channels

Yes a few less stations, and the required Canadian content.. It's all the same shit tho..

I made sure to buy my sir-alp1 from the states so I can stay on the american network

id maybe keep it and have both XM and sirius, but im running out of places to hide these little boxes

I've heard of guys with both xm and sirius, but i dont know about it on an alpine platform, although I think I remember hearing about one person with that setup. i talked to a guy at FS just the other day who had both on a Pioneer platform

if you would've got the universal tuner you could've used that as a pass through for your ipod and not need the kca-410i unless the tv tuner uses ai-net as well

Hmm.. I was reading in the D310 manual that said you can use both.. I wouldn't see why not tho since they would be different sources, but who knows..
