The only Alpine amp I have ever owned was one of their cheaper ones...a V-Power amp I think was the labeling across the chassis....

MRP-T130 was the model, IIRC.

I bought it brand new for $100 from Crutchfield and used it to run a set of JBL 4x6s and some Kicker tweeters wired to a 2 Ohm load per channel. It worked pretty durn good, too! Used the amp for about a year and a half then sold it for $80 to a guy down the street from where I was living at the time.

i have one of those here...i used two in my old car and yeah those things were pretty sexy...but those '04 v12 were beautiful all digital controls is like *** in amp form...installed one in my dads car and twas beautiful
