I ran across a Taco Bell manager once that wanted some help with her "system" after she found out I have a minimal knowledge about car audio.

Best pawn shop score I ever made audio-wise I would have to say are the Fosgate "The Punch Classic" SVC 8 Ohm 10s I used to have.

Bought 'em for $45 for the pair in a pawn shop and built a sealed enclosure as per RF's specs that I got directly from them. Ran 'em for like 4 or 5 years then sold the box with the subs in it to my ex-landlady for $150.

She still runs them to this day. Tough little 10s as they have to be 15 years old or so...
