I just found a trashed 98 Vortec Engine inside a truck at the junkyard. seems like it is in good running shape and only has around 50k miles on it. The guy said 1k and i can take anything i want off the truck so i'm debating on whether or not to snag the engine and the rearend. Its a 14-bolt rear so thats stronger them my 10 bolt.

Yep definately. The TBI in My burban right now is well its actually perfectly fine for having 150k miles on it, but The Vortec would be a nice project motor that I could swap in a couple months for some power.

Before Kenwood labeled the gear in the eXcelon lineup as such they were labeled as Performance Standard and consequently had the designation 'PS' found in the model numbers (like my KAC-PS500F four-channel, the KAC-PS400M monoblock I am looking for, the old KDC-PS909 deadhead HU that is still considered one of the best Kenwood ever built, etc)
